Mumbai: ShortsTV, the first and only global channel dedicated to short films, has been bringing shorts to life that are available around the globe. Intending on promoting Indian short films in international regions, ShortsTV announces its collaboration with Whistling Woods International, India’s leading Film School. ShortsTV is introducing a new segment, Film School Special, that will present top short films made by the students of Whistling Woods International. It aims at providing a bigger platform to budding filmmakers. Some of the best short films screening in this month are BEST DAY, DEATH RUN, KATHAKAAR, and EKAKI.

ShortsTV will also air over 100 short films made by filmmakers who participated in the American Film Institute Conservatory’s educational programs thanks to a new licensing agreement made with the film school. Among the titles are short films with big Hollywood stars like “Wild Horses” starring Brooke Shields and Mireille Enos as well as “Interstate” starring Gina Rodriguez.
