Mangaldai: As a part of the ongoing public awareness drive in the state in support of a strict population control two child policy, a mass signature campaign has been carried out here on Friday under the aegis of the Darrang district chapter of the Janasankhya Samadhan Foundation (JSF). People from different walk of life cutting across age, gender and community spontaneously took part in it. Mayukh Goswami, district chairman and Kailash Patowary, district coordinator of JSF ,Darrang offered their gratitude to the public for their whole hearted support to this noble cause for a stable future amid the growing threats of population outburst.
