Sikkim CM Chairs 5th SICB Governing Board Meeting

New Delhi: Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang chaired the 5th meeting of the Governing Board of the State Institute of Capacity Building (SICB) at Samman Bhawan yesterday.

The meeting reviewed the Institute’s physical and financial progress since its inception, along with the proposed action plan for the current financial year. The Board also deliberated on the integration of various skilling programmes to further strengthen capacity building and skill development initiatives in the State.

During the meeting, Shri Prem Singh Tamang directed the concerned officers to ensure the effective and timely implementation of the decisions taken. He emphasised the need for focused, coordinated and result-oriented efforts to further strengthen SICB as a key institution for capacity building and skill development in Sikkim.

The meeting reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to strengthening institutional capacity, empowering the youth through skills, and creating greater opportunities for learning, growth and employment across Sikkim.
