New Delhi: In a continued effort to promote environmental sustainability and green healthcare spaces, Smiling Tree, under the leadership of its founder Dr. Mukesh Kwatra, organized a vibrant Plantation Drive at W.U.S. Health Centre, University of Delhi.

A diverse variety of plants including Areca Palm, Snake Palm, Auracaria, Diffinbachia, Saphlera, Song of India, and Macheera were planted across the Health Centre premises. These plants were carefully chosen for their air-purifying qualities and aesthetic appeal, contributing to a healthier and more serene environment for patients and staff alike.

Smiling Tree planters were also gifted to Dr. J.K. Siddhartha, HOD, and other esteemed doctors of the Health Centre, as a symbol of appreciation for their service and commitment to community health.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mukesh Kwatra, Founder of Smiling Tree, said,

“It is W.U.S. Health Centre — a place where health and healing come together. We believe a greener, cleaner environment enhances both physical and mental well-being, especially in healthcare settings. This plantation drive is a step toward integrating nature into everyday spaces.”

Dr. J.K. Siddhartha, HOD, W.U.S. Health Centre, expressed his appreciation:

“We are thankful to Smiling Tree for this meaningful initiative. These plants will not only beautify the Health Centre but also improve air quality and provide a calming atmosphere for our patients. We look forward to more such collaborations in the future.”

Smiling Tree continues to engage with academic and healthcare institutions across Delhi, fostering environmental consciousness and action through plantations and sustainability-focused programs.
