Spectrum Metro organises Tiranga Yatra

Mumbai: Commercial and retail giant Spectrum Metro organised a Tiranga Yatra to mark the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations on the occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day. Chowki Incharge Mr Satyavir Singh Parmar was the Chief Guest of the event who gladly joined the Tiranga Yatra along with officials of Spectrum Metro and residents of nearby societies and areas.

Mr Ajendra Singh, VP, Sales & Marketing and Mr Narayan Dev Mishra, VP, Sales, inaugurated the ceremony and also green-lighted the Tiranga Yatra at 8 in the morning. The Tiranga Yatra started from Spectrum Metro, located in Sector 75 and covered most parts of Noida.

The Yatra saw large-scale participation, and nationalistic slogans like Vande Mataram and Jai Hind were valiantly raised by people. The participants also sang patriotic songs to enliven the excitement of the crowd. The Tiranga Yatra ended at its starting point on a euphoric note witnessing outstanding participation from people.

Mr Satyavir Singh Parmar hoisted the national flag, and everybody present sang the national anthem.  The Spectrum Metro group distributed sweets and snacks among people at the end.

Expressing his feelings, Mr Ajendra Singh, VP, Sales and Marketing, Spectrum Metro, said, “This year marks the 75th year of Indian Independence. Through the Tiranga March, we have shown honour to the makers of modern India who fought for our freedom struggle and to whom we owe our freedom. Everybody advocated their love and respect for the nation through sloganeering, singing patriotic songs, etc.”
