Kochi: The Spices Board has cancelled the Cardamom Dealer’s Licence issued to M/s Cardamomauction.com (Trade Code DL-253) for violations of the Cardamom (Licensing and Marketing) Rules, 1987.
The cancellation has come into effect from 27th November 2025. As per the Cardamom Licensing and Marketing (CLM) Rules, only registered dealers are permitted to purchase cardamom from registered growers and estate owners and to participate in the cardamom auction system.
With the cancellation of its licence, M/s Cardamomauction.com is no longer authorised to participate in cardamom auctions or to purchase cardamom from growers. The Spices Board has therefore advised all cardamom auctioneers and growers not to engage in any transactions with the said entity henceforth.
The action has been taken to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and to safeguard the integrity of the cardamom marketing and auction system.
