Gurugram : India is known for its rich diversity, with every region bringing its own distinct culture, colours, traditions, and stories. Bringing this diversity to life through art, Spinny has brought together 36 artists from across the country, turning cars into canvases that capture the unique character of the regions they represent.
The campaign film, launched in the week of Independence Day, brings together artworks inspired by different regions of the country. Each artist interprets the place they come from through their own artistic language, drawing from its landscapes, traditions, architecture, people, and everyday life. A car inspired by Arunachal Pradesh carries a different visual identity from one representing Goa, while Rajasthan, Kerala, Ladakh, and Delhi each find their own expression.
From Sushmita and Chestha for Arunachal Pradesh, Biswajeet for Assam, Anjali for Bihar, Shubham for Chhattisgarh, Rhythm for Goa, Samridhi for Gujarat, Aryan for Haryana, Shreya for Himachal Pradesh, Reva for Jharkhand, Sayeb for Karnataka, Vedant Mittal for Madhya Pradesh, Shradha Bhat for Meghalaya, Sonali and Anshika for Mizoram, Daksh for Nagaland, Priyanka for Odisha, Kshitij for Punjab, Bhavya for Rajasthan, Shreya for Sikkim, Nivi for Tamil Nadu, Indrajit for Telangana, Rathore for Tripura, Shreya for Chandigarh, Hitashi for Daman and Diu, Shubhangi for Lakshadweep, Mehak for Puducherry and Mayank for Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the artists bring together perspectives from across the country. Their work transforms everyday cars into canvases that carry a visual representation of the places they know and call home.
The initiative reflects Spinny’s effort to celebrate and support local creative talent across the country. By bringing artists from different regions into the campaign, Spinny is giving local voices a platform to showcase the distinctive character of their regions while taking their work to a wider audience.
At its heart, the campaign reflects the idea that India is not defined by a single identity, but by the many different experiences and perspectives that come together to form one country. By taking these regional expressions onto cars, Spinny brings them into everyday spaces, allowing the artwork to travel beyond traditional creative platforms and become part of the communities around it.
Together, these cars become moving portraits of India, reflecting the diversity of the country and the journeys that connect its many parts.
The car is the canvas. India is the inspiration.
