New Delhi : The Artist Event Cricket League (AECL) Season 8 officially kicked off with a grand and star-studded Opening Ceremony at SYLVARAH, Chattarpur, bringing together leading names from cricket, Bollywood, music and entertainment.
The ceremony featured the much-awaited AECL Season 8 trophy unveiling and celebrity team jersey launch, marking the beginning of the latest edition of the league. The event witnessed the presence of distinguished personalities, artists, musicians and cricketing figures, creating an evening celebrating sports, entertainment and camaraderie.
The event was attended by Dr Abhishek Verma, ShivSena’s Chief National Coordinator for NDA Alliance & Elections; Shri Manoj Tiwari, Member of Parliament, among other prominent guests.
Adding star power to the celebrations were popular entertainment personalities including Haryanvi singer Sapna Chaudhary, Punjabi singer Maninder Buttar, Meet Brothers, Shibani Kashyap, Millind Gaba, Shadab Faridi, Ashok Masti, Dilbagh Singh, LOC and DJ Sumit Sethi, among several other artists and guests.
The evening featured the unveiling of the coveted AECL Season 8 trophy and the launch of celebrity team jerseys, setting the stage for the cricketing action ahead. The ceremony also brought together artists and cricket personalities who shared their enthusiasm for the upcoming season.

The AECL Season 8 tournament will feature 12 teams, with competitive matches scheduled from 28 September to 3 October 2026. The participating teams will compete as the league brings together artists and personalities with a shared passion for cricket.
The Opening Ceremony also featured entertainment and music, followed by dinner and refreshments, giving guests an opportunity to interact and celebrate the beginning of the new season.
Founded with the vision of bringing together the worlds of cricket and entertainment, AECL has evolved into a distinctive platform for artists and celebrities to showcase their sporting spirit while building camaraderie within the creative community.
With the trophy now unveiled, celebrity jerseys launched and 12 teams ready to take the field, AECL Season 8 has officially begun, promising a week of cricket, entertainment and community spirit from 28 September to 3 October.
