Mumbai: The key domestic share indices ended in green amidst mixed global cues. The Sensex gained 103 points, or 0.15 percent, to close at 69,928 and the Nifty added 28 points, or 0.13 percent to settle at 20,997. In the intra-day session, Sensex hit the new milestone of 70,000 mark to reach an all time high of 70,052 while Nifty also registered a record high of 21,026.
Strong macroeconomic data, on the domestic front, along with hopes that the Federal Reserve is done raising rates is reflecting on the indices’ rally.
