T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) congratulates Mr. Sharad Agarwal, one of its PGDBM alumni from the Marketing Batch of 1999–2001, on his recent appointment as Chief Business Officer of Tesla India.
With experience of over 20 years in the automotive and mobility industry, Mr. Agarwal has expanded his professional responsibilities working for the leadership of premium and global brands. He held senior management positions in Lamborghini India, Audi India, Classic Legends, and other multinational companies prior to joining Tesla, and the change is occurring when Tesla is planning to ramp its activities in the Indian automotive and mobility market.
Reflecting on the development, Prof Rajeev Kumra, Director TAPMI stated: “Mr. Sharad’s appointment is a tremendous professional achievement and we are delighted to see a TAPMI alumnus accepting such an influential role in the industry.
