Tata Motors and Green Drive Mobility Strengthen Collaboration to Scale Zero-Emission Logistics Across India

This collaboration expands the deployment of Tata Motors EV cargo vehicles across first, mid, and last-mile operations, as Green Drive Mobility targets ~1,000 electric cargo vehicles by 2028.

New Delhi, 15th April, 2026: Green Drive Mobility, one of India’s leading multi-stack electric vehicle (EV) fleet operators, and Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, today announced the continuation and strengthening of their collaboration to accelerate the adoption of zero-emission electric mobility solutions across India’s logistics ecosystem.

As part of the expanded collaboration, Green Drive Mobility continues its deployment of Tata Motors’ electric commercial vehicles to handle all three logistics stages, including first-mile, mid-mile, and last-mile operations for enterprise customers in various industry sectors.

Green Drive Mobility operates a diverse range of two-wheelers, three-wheelers, four-wheeler electric cargo vehicles, EV cabs, and electric buses. Its four-wheeler electric cargo fleet currently comprises over 250 vehicles supporting first-mile and mid-mile logistics use cases across industry verticals, including FMCG, FMCD, e-commerce, catering, dairy, courier, and bakery segments.

Recently, Green Drive Mobility inducted an additional batch of Tata Ace EVs to support its Bengaluru and Hyderabad operations for a leading multinational furnishings brand. Looking ahead, the company plans to progressively scale its electric cargo operations, with an internal roadmap to build a fleet of approximately 1,000 electric cargo vehicles by 2028, subject to market demand, customer requirements, and product availability.

Green Drive Mobility operates as a one-stop Electric Vehicle-as-a-Service (EVaaS) platform, offering integrated fleet deployment, operations, charging infrastructure, technology enablement, and workforce support, helping customers meet their sustainability and decarbonisation objectives while maintaining operational reliability.
