TCEI & TEA celebrate Independence Day

Hyderabad: Telangana Chamber of Events Industry (TCEI) and Telangana Entertainers’ Association (TEA), representing the various stakeholders from the Event industry, celebrated the 75th Independence Day, by hosting a colourfully themed performance ONE NATION – ONE DANCE, at HITEX, today. The event was graced by Guests of Honour Dr Chinnam Reddy, Director, NITHM; Dr Shantha Kumari, President FOGSI & Treasurer FOGI and Dr CH Preeti Reddy, Director, Mallareddy Health City.

The biggest synchronised dance performance One Nation – One Dance, with over 7500 participants was a tribute paid by TCEI and TEA to commemorate our great nation’s Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The participants included members of TCEI and TEA, budding event professionals from NITHM and students from various schools including Birla Open Minds International School, International School, Shaikpet; Scholars International School; Gitanjali Vedika and Kairos School. They shook a leg real time to one tune and choreography, while participating from centres across the city connected through live streaming. The dignitaries including the Home Minister and TCEI members were present at the HITEX Exhibition Grounds at Madhapur.

Speaking about One Nation – One Dance, conceived and executed by Telangana Entertainers Association; its President Sravya Manasa said, ‘One Nation One Dance, is an endeavour by TCEI-TEA to evoke patriotic fervour and bring everyone, irrespective of their caste, creed, gender, colour, race, religion, regional affiliations together through an event, wherein everyone dances to one tune, to celebrate oneness, to celebrate togetherness, to celebrate Hyderabad and to celebrate Telangana.’

The event began with performances from Flautist Uma Krishna; Violinist Shandilya; a Dance- Jam by TEA Choreographers and Vandemataram performances, leading to a free flowing footwork and slick and deft dance moves from the participants. This built the necessary tempo and inspired a patriotic fervour all around. Later, the flag was hoisted followed by National Anthem being sung and the dignitaries speeches. The event reached a crescendo and culminated with the popular Bollywood number ‘JAI HO’ enthralling and mesmerising the gathering.

Elaborating on the multifarious activities TCEI is initiating, its President Balaram Babu said, ‘TCEI is all set to host the 5th edition of ‘Stri Shakti Awards 2022’ on October 3, 2022 at Hyderabad. This event celebrates Women in Events by awarding Stri Ratna, Stri Murti and Stri Shakti Awards on pan India basis. During the previous editions, outstanding women officers from State Government’s Irrigation department were recognised and this year too Lady  officials from the Government along with women achievers in Self Help Groups will be acknowledged for their stupendous work. He said, TCEI will be conducting the 6th edition of EPL (Ecube Premier League), its popular cricket league for the industry fraternity, in October end.

The program concluded with acknowledgements to all those who helped in making this program a grand success especially HITEX Exhibition Center for always associating with TCEI in its events.
