New Delhi: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)has plans to double its workforce in France over the next three years, citing robust business growth in the European nation, a PTI report revealed.
The company currently employs 1,600 individuals in France across four major locations, TCS views France as one of its fastest-growing markets in Europe, surpassing its continental performance.
Sapthagiri Chapalapalli, Head of European Business at TCS, told PTI that the company has been a part of the French landscape for over three decades. He said that the groundwork has been laid for a rapid expansion of business operations.
TCS has established a strong presence in France, collaborating with 80 French clients spanning key sectors crucial to the local economy. Additionally, the company operates an innovation centre in Paris, reflecting its commitment to fostering technological advancements in the region.
The majority of TCS’s French workforce, approximately 60 per cent, is comprised of French citizens, with the primary hub located in Paris. Other centres are strategically positioned in Toulouse, known for its aviation industry, and Poitiers, an education hub.
