As part of the TELUS family, TELUS Digital contributes to more than 25 years of TELUS’ purpose-driven leadership in creating positive outcomes for people, communities, and the environment. In 2025, TELUS strengthened this commitment through measurable climate action initiatives, expanded community programs, and continued progress toward its 2040 net-zero target. TELUS Digital India supports these efforts through responsible operations, community engagement, and inclusive workforce initiatives across its delivery centers.

Environmental impact and sustainability

TELUS made significant progress against its environmental targets in 2025, reducing Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 79% compared to 2019 levels and lowering overall energy consumption by 1.2% year-over-year. As part of the broader TELUS family, TELUS Digital continues to contribute to these sustainability efforts through responsible operations and environmental initiatives across its global footprint.

Across TELUS Digital offices and worksites, the company also continued to strengthen waste management and resource efficiency initiatives through projects such as water bottle refill stations, reusable bottle programs, hand dryers to reduce paper towel waste, and enhanced employee awareness and waste diversion practices.

TELUS also continued to advance its renewable energy transition in 2025, with 96% of electricity across TELUS and TELUS Digital operations sourced from renewable or low-emitting sources, alongside 300 MW of renewable generation capacity secured through virtual power purchase agreements. These efforts are further supported by TELUS Digital through sustainable operational practices and environmental initiatives across its global footprint.

In addition, TELUS Digital purchased 48,469 MWh of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), International RECs, and Guarantees of Origin (GOs) across 19 countries where it operates service delivery sites with material electricity use. In India, these efforts are reflected through energy-efficient infrastructure, responsible workplace practices, and sustainable resource management initiatives across TELUS Digital offices.

Community development and inclusive growth

The 2025 report reflects TELUS Corporation’s continued investment in community impact and inclusive growth, with TELUS Digital team members participating across many of these initiatives as part of the broader TELUS family. In 2025, TELUS celebrated the 20th anniversary of its global volunteer initiative, TELUS Days of Giving, mobilizing 90,000 team members, retirees, customers, and friends to volunteer 1.5 million hours across 33 countries. TELUS’ sustainability leadership continues to receive global recognition, including being named among Corporate Knights’ Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations and TIME Magazine’s World’s Most Sustainable Companies.

2025 also marked a significant milestone for India, with TELUS launching its first-ever TELUS Community Board in the country, one of two new Community Boards established that year alongside Greater London, UK. The Community Boards model places funding decisions for community grants directly in the hands of local business and community leaders, ensuring philanthropic investment reflects local priorities and addresses the needs of the communities TELUS serves. TELUS’ global community impact in 2025 exceeded $12 million in grants and TELUS Student Bursaries, supporting youth-focused health and education programs around the world.

TELUS Digital India further contributes to these efforts through local community programs and impact-driven partnerships. Initiatives such as Share to Care, in collaboration with the Akshaya Patra Foundation, continue to support underserved communities through meaningful grassroots engagement. The company is also advancing local, inclusive employment opportunities through Project Samika, in partnership with the SETU Community Centre. The initiative equips women with specialized IT and data management training, helping create accessible pathways into the digital economy and supporting the company’s broader impact sourcing strategy.

Warren Tait, Vice-President Real Estate & Facilities at TELUS Digital,  said, “At TELUS Digital, sustainability is deeply integrated into how we operate, innovate, and create value across our global footprint. As we advance our net-zero ambitions and accelerate meaningful climate action, we remain equally committed to fostering inclusive growth and supporting the communities where we live and work. India continues to play an important role in this journey through responsible operations, community partnerships, and initiatives that help build a more sustainable and inclusive future for all.”
