The Recycling and Environment Industry Association of India (REIAI) Conclave on Waste Recycling & Climate Change
New Delhi: Bhupender Yadav, Union Minister for Environment, forest and climate change (MoEFCC) will inaugurate a day long conclave on Waste Recycling & Climate Change, organised by the Recycling and Environment Industry Association of India (REIAI), on February 18, 2025 in New Delhi .
Dr Amandeep Garg, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment and forests and Chairman, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) will be the guest of honour at the conclave .
“More than 100 environmental scientists, waste management professionals, policymakers, industry leaders from recycling companies, working on waste treatment technologies and waste reduction will be participating and discussing ways and means for effective recycling practices and protecting the environment.” said Dr Ashok Kumar Gupta, President, Recycling and Environment Industry Association of India (REIAI).
“Some of the subjects that will be discussed during the conclave will include e-waste and recycling technologies, circular economy and waste management ,sustainable e-waste management , industry prospectives and innovations, capacity building and skill development in the sector” said Mr Gupta.
“Some of eminent delegates at the conclave wil include Mr Srikant Nagulapalli, DG, Bureau of energy Efficiency, Dr R Ratheesh, director, C-MET, Ministry of Environment, Ms Youthika Puri, CPCB,Dr Vinod Kumar Singh, Ministry of Environment, Ms Ansuri Deepika, TERI, Dr R Hasan, SIAM, and Mr Rajender Prasad, Sharma, DGM, SIDBI” said Dr Manoranjan Hota, Director General , Recycling and Environment Industry Association of India (REIAI).
