Kolkata: The Heritage School Kolkata organized the Durga Puja Special Assembly to celebrate the return of Goddess Durga today i.e. 26ht September at The Heritage campus. The program started with fabulous performances by the students and teachers to celebrate Navaratri and the onset of Durga Puja which is the most awaited festival cherished by every Bengali across the world.
The event was inaugurated by Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Principal, Heritage Institute of Technology and former Vice Chancellor, West Bengal State University, Barasat in the presence of Ms. Seema Sapru, the Principal of The Heritage School, Kolkata.
The event opined with a Dhunuchi Dance performed by the students which was followed by various dance performances by the students to make the event livelier on the Heritage campus.
“The students were so excited to give their best performances. Every year the Durga Puja Assembly marks special importance in our Academic Calender and this year after we are back from the Covid-19 pandemic, the enthusiasm among the students is much more to celebrate this festival vibrantly,” said Ms. Seema Sapru, Principal, The Heritage School Kolkata.
