In Malaysia, three people were killed and 24 injured when a powerful explosion rocked a shopping mall in the state of Sarawak.
The official news agency Bernama said, the blast could have been caused by a leaking gas tank.
Head of the fire rescue department in the state capital Kuching, Wan Abdul Mubin said, the explosion happened near a store on the ground floor of the shopping mall that was undergoing renovation.
He said, the cause of the explosion is being investigated.
