Guwahathi: No statue will be seen in kamakhya devi temple nor any picture here is just a vaginal shaped part of the stones. This temple is a very mysterious temple in itself. Kamakhya Devi is the most important goddess for Tantrito. So, here, the tantric comes to receive his principles. Kamakhya is the most important goddess after Kali and Tripur Sundari Devi for the tantriers, which helps in providing principles to the tantrito. When a person does not become a complete tantric until he is in front of the Kamakhya. Otherwise, the goddess gets angry. The Tantric Mela here is mysterious in itself. Therefore, the Kamakhya Devi temple is considered to be the most powerful temple. The Kamakhya Devi is happy to be sacrificed by the goat or buffalo. Not only that, if someone has a black spell or curse, he gets rid of it here. In a raid at the Kamakhya temple complex in Guwahati, the bridges of wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) have seized large quantities of wild animal body parts besides marine animal products. The dyani, considered to be the largest for years, includes musk legumes, porcupine and other animal body parts besides marine animal products. The recovery was made during a joint operation launched by WCCB Guwahati and Guwahati Forest Range office on Wednesday. Three persons have been arrested in this connection. Interestingly, this is the first time that northeast products have been seized of marine products in an area off the country’s coasts, a WCCB official said. In the first raid held at Ganashguri Lakhi Temple, 600 pieces of sea fans were seized (listed in Schedule-I of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972).

The official said that one person was arrested as Rahul Chaudhary and another raid was carried out at two places in a market area of Kamakhya temple on the basis of his confession. He said that 29 kilograms of sea fans were seized from the possession of Jitendra Saha at Kamakhya Temple. Other seizures included Santosh Gupta’s 5 kg marine fan, 14 pieces of suspected musk pods, 1.5 kg porcupine, 43 pieces of spikeora, and body parts of several unidentified animals. Among the items seized by the police are -C fan-50 kg, musk deer pod (double)-14,broken pieces of musk pod-2 kg,monitor lizard sex-43,porpine spike-1.5 kg, un-identified animal article-3. Fans of the sea look like plants with colorful, prickly but branches, but they are actually animals, such as their relatives, corals and jelly. Marine fans are colonial animals made up of many small, individual animals that work together. “This is the largest ever marine product seizure in the country and we believe a large gang of smugglers are at work. The investigation is continuing and we hope to further highlight the nefarious activities. He said it was very surprising how the sale of banned products could be in the eyes of the administration and the police at Kamakhya Temple.
