Bhopal :Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that with a view to promote the toy art of Budhni and to create employment opportunities, a toy cluster would be constructed in Budhni. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the virtual inauguration of Budhni Toy Festival organized from November 1-14 at Dussehra ground in Budhni from his residence.
Ek Zila- Ek Utpad
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that one product of every district is being promoted under ‘Ek Zila-Ek Utpad Yojana’. This will help in increasing employment opportunities. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had given the mantra of atmanirbhar Bharat. We have prepared a roadmap for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh during Corona crisis. Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh means to bring the light of development to the poor. Only when the common man becomes self-reliant, can Madhya Pradesh be made self-reliant. He said that full care would be taken to provide wood to the sellers of toys at affordable prices and to arrange employment for them.
Wooden toys of Budhni much in demand
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the wooden toys of Budhni are much in demand. We will work on priority to promote this art. He talked about the economic progress of talented wood craftsmen.
Recognition to Budhni toys at national and international level
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Budhni’s toys would be recognized at national and international level. No stone will be left unturned in promoting the art of traditional wooden toys. Wooden toys are not harmful. Necessary steps will be taken to supply training, raw material and capital to the artisans engaged in this art. Promotion and marketing of the art of toys will be done by talking to JAM portal and big companies.
Budhni will be made self-sufficient
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Budhni would be made self-sufficient. Shri Chouhan congratulated the toy manufacturers. He said that today Corona is under control, but still there is need to take precautions. He congratulated and honored Corona warriors who did amazing work. The Chief Minister said that due to or collective awareness, the third wave has not come in the state, but for complete protection, both doses of the vaccine must be administered.
Vocal for local will get promoted
Public Health and Family Welfare Minister and in-charge minister of Sehore district, Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary said that today is an auspicious day that Toy Festival is being organized at Budhni on the inspiration of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. Budhni has been famous for its kashta kala. Such events will help Budhni’s art establish in the state as well as at the country and international level and vocal for local will be promoted. People of Budhni will get employment and business will increase.
MP Ramakant Bhargava, former MLA Rajendra Singh Rajput, Shri Guru Prasad Sharma, Shri Ravi Malviya, Shri Mahesh Upadhyay and other public representatives and general public were present.
