Toyota Kirloskar Motor CSR Initiatives for building vibrant communities receives certificate of appreciation from Karnataka Govt
Bangalore: In line with its commitment to corporate social responsibility, TKM is putting relentless efforts towards building vibrant communities, thus making a positive impact on the society. These efforts are further contributing to the sustainable development in the state and has been recognized by the Government of Karnataka during a prestigious event, – the ‘CSR Conclave – Education to Make a Social Impact,’ held recently in Bengaluru. TKM was honoured with a Certificate of Appreciation for its exceptional contribution in the development of the local community in the State of Karnataka.
During the event Mr. Sudeep S Dalvi, Senior Vice President, Director and Chief Communication Officer, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, received the Certificate of Appreciation from Hon’ble Higher Education Minister, Dr M C Sudhakar, in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr. Siddaramaiah, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. D.K Shivakumar, Hon’ble School Education Minister Mr. Madhu Bangarappa, and Hon’ble Medical Education Minister Mr. Sharan Prakash Patil, Government of Karnataka
Since 2001, CSR has remained an integral part of TKM’s philosophy, with strong emphasis on scalability and sustainability, TKM has undertaken various initiatives centred around five key thematic areas: Education, Environment, Health & Hygiene, Road Safety, and Skill Development contributing to eight sustainable development goals. The CSR initiatives are carefully aligned with the needs of the community and the state, ensuring a meaningful and impactful contribution to society.
