Kokrajhar: The 3 days Tribal Youth Conclave-Jothumma commenced from Tuesday at Bodofa Cultural complex in Kokrajhar.
Organised by Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) government, the day event was organised to create an atmosphere of integration and unity among the communities with the idea of inclusiveness and diverseness. The three days event will see discussion on various topics and share ideas. The event will also be witnessed multicultural demonstration representing different indigenous communities across the region.
Executive council member (ECM) of Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP) Pankoj Teron attended the function as chief guest on the opening ceremony and inaugurated the programme.
Over 200 delegate and representatives from 15 autonomous councils from different parts of the country including Ladak, Kargil, Jaintia Hills, Garo Hills, Karbi Anglong are participating in the event.
