Dubai: The two  lady security officers, Lieutenant Or Moses, aged 22, who served as a commander in the Home Front Command and hailed from Ashdod, and Inspector Kim Dokraker, who worked as a Border Police officer in the police’s Central District, were killed during the Hamas attack on October 7.  Both were killed  while on duty.

In a conversation with the news agency, Talker’s grandfather, Yaacov, who had emigrated from Mumbai, India in 1963, revealed that his granddaughter was deeply traumatised and unable to speak due to the immense mental agony she was enduring. Consequently, she decided to cope with her grief by expressing her thoughts in writing, a small measure of solace for her pain, according to Yaacov. “Early today Shahaf went to the funeral of some of her friends who were killed in the massacre that happened at the rave music party,” he added.

“She is still in shock. It will take her a lot of time to come out of it,” Yaacov further said.

The toll from Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip has risen significantly, reaching at least 2,670 casualties since Hamas initiated a violent attack on southern Israel just last week, as reported by the Gaza health ministry on Sunday. On the Israeli side, the conflict has led to the tragic loss of 1,400 lives.

Officials have also confirmed that, to date, the conflict has claimed the lives of 286 army soldiers and 51 police officers, highlighting the human cost of this ongoing tragedy.
