As part of the evacuation process of outbound migrant workers of other states and Union Territories stranded in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, 2 Shramik special trains carrying 3205 migrant workers left from Katra Railway Station yesterday.
With this, 38,227 outbound migrant workers have been sent back to their home states and UTs through Shramik special trains from Katra since 19th of May 2020. So far, J&K government has arranged 24 special Shramik trains to facilitate the migrant workers to reach their home towns safely.
