Kolkata: The Department of Media Science, The Heritage Academy, Kolkata organized its 7th mega AD event ‘AD ADDA 2023’ on the 25th and 26th of September at The Heritage campus. The inaugural session of the event was addressed by Ms. Usha Uthup, the renowned playback singer as the Chief Guest and various other experts from the AD world. Shri P.K.Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions Kolkata, Dr. Madhupa Bakshi, Dean, Department of Media Science, The Heritage Academy and Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Principal, Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata were also present during the inaugural session to welcome the guests and motivate the students who are participating in this mega event.
Various colleges across the city participated in this two-day event which consisted of competitions like AD jingles, MAD Ads, Fashion Marketing, Film Marketing, a Quiz, and panel discussions. Mr. Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, (Tony) Film Maker, Mr. Kanchan Dutta, President, Advertising Club of Kolkata, CEO Inner Circle Advertising., Mr. Soham Datta, Mondelez International, Category Planning and Activation Manager/ Regional Customer Marketing Manager (East India and Nepal), Mr. Arindam Nandy, Director, Arindam Nandy Productions, Ms. Anindita Bose: Actor, Mr. Riddhi Sen: Actor, Ms. Monideepa Banerjee, Journalist, Mr. Jamil Akhtar, Vice President, Banglanatak dot Com, Mr. Indranil Sengupta, Creative Director, Expression 360, Mr. Shankhya Acharya, Account Director, Madison Digital, Kolkata, Mr. Shamik Adhikary (Yournonsane) Instagrammer and Ms. Preeti Sarkar, (prettysheis) Instagrammer will address the students during these two days.
