In Uttar Pradesh, 3-day restrictions which were imposed at 10 pm on Friday in wake of Covid-19 will continue till 5 am tomorrow. All the offices, markets and other institutions are closed but all industrial activities are continuing with social distancing norms.
The government is carrying out a three-day special state wide sanitization and cleaning campaign in urban and rural areas which will continue till Monday.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed to conduct corona tests by taking samples of people with suspected symptoms during door-to-door medical screening and more than 1 lakh 40 thousand teams are engaged in this work.
Additional Chief Secretary Home Awanish Awasthi said that the government is firmly implementing Covid-19 restrictions and 2,27,354 people have been booked , registering 90,009 FIRs under Section 188 since the inception of Lockdown in the state. So far 61,950 vehicles have been seized in intensive checking. There are 11,490 active cases of Covid 19 in the state and 22,689 patients have been recovered so far.
