Uttarakhand: 8 Nanda Devi climbers still missing; four rescued

Uttarakhand, four mountaineers from UK have been rescued in Pithoragarh District who were stranded on trekking routes to Nanda Devi Peaks. District Magistrate Vijay Jogdande told media that these four climbers were spotted 21 kilometres beyond the base camp.

He said, a search operation is going on to rescue the other eight missing climbers. The missing climbers are from Australia, Britain, the United States and India. Search operations began on Saturday when they did not return to their base camp
