Initiative led by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, in collaboration with designer Vaishali S, the showcase featured all 30 State Winners, each representing a unique handloom tradition from across the country.
Each ensemble narrated a distinct story, reinterpreting Indiaโs traditional weaves through contemporary silhouettes inspired by global cultures. The collection created a powerful dialogue between heritage and modern design, demonstrating the versatility, relevance and global appeal of Indian handlooms.
Through its association with the Femina Miss India pageant, โVishwa Sutraโ brought Indiaโs handloom legacy to a wide and aspirational audience, positioning Indian handlooms within the global fashion conversation.
