‘Warning’ poster pasted in market against Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma Wrote, ‘Himanta Saavdhan’

GUWAHATI : A poster warning Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has been found glued to a wall in The Fancy Bazaar area of Guwahati. The poster reads: “Himanta Biswa Sarma Sabha (Beware) Police Gabbar. However, it is yet to be ascertained who could be behind the incident. Pictures of the poster have now started going viral on social media after the incident. Police are investigating the case. Many believe that the poster has been pasted by someone, who is unhappy with the recent surge in police encounters in the state. However, things will be clear only after a thorough investigation. Earlier on Sunday, a team of Guwahati police had arrested a man who forged the signature of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The poster case has come to light after the arrest of the mastermind of the fake sign.
