WeMakeScholars’ Study Abroad Funding Expo (SAFE) empowers Indian Students with Financial Aid

Hyderabad: India’s largest Study Abroad Funding Expo (SAFE) organized by WeMakeScholars, concluded on March 2023, at the Manohar Hotel, Begumpet, Hyderabad, with an overwhelming response from students and parents alike. The event saw a high footfall of enthusiastic students who received comprehensive guidance on how to fund their studies abroad.

SAFE 2023 aimed to ensure that no student misses out on the opportunity to study abroad due to financial constraints. Students who attended the expo had the opportunity to explore international scholarships and obtain instant education loans pre-sanction, comparing their profile from 14+ banks with the lowest interest rates in India. They received one-on-one personalised guidance based on their profile and obtained instant loan pre-approval letters based on the criteria of top nationalized, public and private banks in India. Loan sanction letters are essential documents for Visa purposes.

Study Abroad Funding Expo 2023 organised by WeMakeScholars had footfall of 2000+ study abroad aspirants and their parents. It went on from 12 pm to 7 pm in the evening focussing majorly on 2 aspects – International Scholarships and Education Loans. The event was a huge success; many students and parents expressed their appreciation for the guidance and support provided at the expo. They found the event to be informative and helpful, with valuable information on international scholarships and education loans. All the services of WeMakeScholars are free of cost. The initiative is supported under the Digital India Campaign of IT Ministry, Govt. Of India.

Damini Mahajan, CoFounder of WeMakeScholars said, “Addressing the funding gap in abroad studies was the main agenda of the expo. Feedback from both students and parents was very positive and our expo was successful in addressing it. About 1000 students were given instant in-principle education loan sanction letter for their abroad education across various countries globally. That’s a record in itself, on a single day!”

The students’ profiles were evaluated under a single window process as per the loan approval criteria of 14 top education loan lenders in India, making it extremely helpful for the students and parents.
