With 50 Robotic Procedures Performed In Just 55 Days At Hcgmcc, Nashik Emerges As Global Hub For Cancer Care
Nashik: Reinforcing its position as one of India’s leading centres for robotic oncology – HCG Manavata Cancer Centre (HCGMCC) Nashik, has achieved yet another landmark in advanced surgical care by successfully performing 50 surgeries in just 55 days. The feat was achieved through the newly introduced EDGE AI Tele Robotic Surgical System. The milestone represents one of the fastest adoption rates for the technology in the country, cementing Nashik’s reputation as an emerging international destination for precision oncology and robotic assisted surgery. Additionally, the hospital’s Managing Director & Chief of Surgical Oncology and Robotic Services – Prof Dr Raj Nagarkar set a record last November by completing 2,000 robotic assisted surgeries using the Versius Robotic System.
