Kokrajhar: A 5-day online workshop on “Machine Learning and
Deep Learning Techniques with its Applications” was held at Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar from November 23 to November 27.
This FDP is sponsored by AICTE under AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy initiative. The
workshop comprises of fifteen expert sessions including the special topic “Art of Living” being conducted by speakers from reputed Academia as well as Industry.
This FDP along with other 45 more ATAL FDPs was inaugurated by Chief Guest Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Education Minister. The FDP coordinator Dr. Amitava Nag on behalf of dept. of CSE, CIT Kokrajhar expresses his heartfelt gratitude to ATAL Academy for sponsoring the workshop and said, “More than 270 candidates from various parts of India applied. However, only 200 participants were finally selected for the FDP due to the restriction in registration scheme in ATAL Academy.
The feedback from the attendees of each session were excellent.”
At the outset, Director, Prof. Debkumar Chakrabarti CIT Kokrajhar in his address welcomed all the dignitaries and participants and owed special thanks to the AICTE for providing such a
good platform for faculty training in the area of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IoT, Cyber security etc.
Registrar CIT Kokrajhar Chaitali Brahma,
said that AICTE Training and
Learning(ATAL) Academy achieved World Book of Record, London, UK for conducting more than 1000 FDP programs and trained nearly 1 lac faculty members in the year 2020-21.
