Nagpur : Global Indian International School (GIIS), Nagpur, recently hosted its Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026-27 to formally administer the newly elected Student Council, marking the beginning of a new journey of leadership, responsibility, and service.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp, followed by the introduction of the newly elected Student Council and the felicitation of our esteemed Chief Guests, CA Ms. Swaroopa S. Wazalwar, Mr. Arvind Temurnikar, Mrs. Neeta Temurnikar, and Mr. Kedar Gokhale. The programme featured a welcome song by the school choir and a cultural dance performance by the students, following which the newly elected council members were conferred with badges and sashes, symbolizing the responsibilities entrusted to them as student leaders.
Addressing the gathering, CA Ms. Swaroopa S. Wazalwar, Chairperson, ICAI, Nagpur Branch congratulated the council members and encouraged them to uphold the values of sincerity, discipline, and dedication while fulfilling their leadership responsibilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Nidhi Gupta, Principal, GIIS Nagpur, said, “Leadership is about serving others with integrity, empathy, and commitment.
