Zee Anmol Cinema pe Singh Garjega with the premiere of the Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Kesari’ on 27th September

And, 27th September, Zee Anmol Cinema – Aapki Family Ka Cinema Hall, will take you on a heartwarming and inspirational rollercoaster ride with the premiere of the historic action movie ‘Kesari’. Celebrating the undaunting spirit of bravery, the film follows the event leading to the battle of Saragarhi, where an army of 21 Sikhs fearlessly fought against the humongous army of Afghans.Directed by Anurag Singh, the film features Akshay Kumar, Mir Sarwar, Parineeti Chopra, Vansh Bhardwaj, Jaspreet Singh, Vivek Saini and Vikram Kochchar in pivotal roles. So, this Sunday, 12 pm, be ready to witness the greatest battle ever fought in the Indian history with the premiere of Kesari.

Based on a real historic event, Kesari takes you back to the year 1897 where 21 soldiers of the 36th Sikh Regiment fought against a humungous fleet of 10,000 Afghani invaders in Tirah region of North West Frontier province. Led by Havildar Ishar Singh (Akshay Kumar), this atomic task force of 21 soldiers proved to be the strongest opposition the Afghans ever faced. The soldiers chose to stand up for what they believed in – never quit, never stop. Even though they lost the battle, their efforts helped them win the war.
