SIVASAGAR : The Assam Natya Sammelan, the largest theatre organization in Assam and the largest theatre organization in Assam, under the initiative of Voluntary Programme Coordination Cultural Group, A theatre workshop has been organized at the Hindu Dharma Sabha Namghar Auditorium in front of the Sivasagar Municipal Office after a long break in association with the Sivasagar branch and in association with the Hindu Dharma Sabha Namghar.
The nationally renowned playwright, who was invited as head coach, will reportedly train in the fifteen-day “Theatre Workshop” to be held from June 15 to June 29. Actor and drama director and former Guwahati gunkar Dev Goswami will also be present as the associate coach nat director, natyapeeth chairman Prashant Sharma. It may be mentioned that, Entrepreneurs have informed that everyone can train in drama from the age of 16 in the workshop. The admission fee for “15 day theatre workshop” to be trained on each subject of drama has been fixed at Rs. 500. Certificates will be issued to the trainees at the end of the workshop.
