66th Madhya Pradesh foundation day organized on the theme of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh

 Bhopal :The 66th foundation day of Madhya Pradesh was celebrated as Madhya Pradesh Utsav on the theme of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. The state-level programme began with the national anthem amidst chanting of mantras at Lal Parade Ground, Bhopal. Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath, Culture and Tourism Minister Sushri Usha Thakur were present. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan administered the oath to build a Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh.

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel told people to contribute their best to make Madhya Pradesh self-reliant. All the people of the state should unite and make efforts for an Atmanrbhar Madhya Pradesh. Indigenous products should be used and others too should be inspired to do the same. Governor Shri Patel congratulated the government for having more than 7 crore vaccinations in Madhya Pradesh. He extended his greetings and good wishes to all the people of the state on the 66th foundation day of the state and the festival of Deepawali. He said that let happiness and prosperity reign in every household, the state should set new records of development and progress.

Cooperation of society along with government must for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan congratulated the citizens of the state on the foundation day and the holy festival of Deepawali. He said that our resolve of development would be fulfilled only when the society stands with the government for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh,. Development requires the cooperation and support of the general public. Every citizen should take any one task in hand. He should contribute to environmental protection also. Every person should plant saplings on special occasions.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan told people to give priority to local products this Diwali while making purchases. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has also said that on this Diwali, buy only such products made by local artisans like lamps, idols etc. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that we all have to make efforts in such a way that even these artisans enjoy the festival of Diwali.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that this event is being organized after the difficult period of Corona. Everyone must get both the vaccine doses compulsorily to protect against Corona. Prime Minister Shri Modi has made available the Suraksha Chakra to the public through indigenous vaccine, which all should make use of. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the light of development is meaningless if the house of the poor is not illuminated. Our resolve is to change the lives of the poor. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that every person has to perform duty along with rights.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that 2.5 crore Ayushman cards have been made in the state, which enables treatment facility of up to Rs 5 lakh per person free of cost. CM Rise schools will be started in the state which will be equipped with labs, computers and smart classes. Ladli Laxmi Yojana has been launched for girls. A lump sum amount of Rs 25,000 will be given to girls for higher education. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that commissions have been formed for the welfare of general and backward classes. Farmers are getting loans at zero percent interest. An amount of Rs 10 thousand is being given to small and marginal farmers in a year. Arrangements have been made for export of farmers’ produce. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that people will have to make united efforts  for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh the same way the government and the society jointly fought against Corona. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the government cannot do every work, common people will have to make their contribution.Only then can the lives of every section of the society be changed.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed about the efforts being made in various fields. He provided information about the work being done in Atal Expressway, Narmada Expressway, River Link Abhiyan, implementation of schemes in the field of irrigation, drinking water, power generation and new efforts in solar energy sector. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan remembered the contribution of different sections in the development of the country and thanked them.

Kusum Yojana

 Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the new Kusum Yojana will be started, in which cooperation will be provided to the local bodies for setting up 2 MW power plants. Arrangements will be made by the government to purchase the electricity produced by them.

Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana would be started, which would be very helpful in providing employment to the youth. Under the scheme, loans ranging from one to 50 lakh rupees will be given to the youth for setting up enterprises, which will be guaranteed by the government. In this, 3 percent interest subsidy will also be given. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that old schemes would be given a new look. There will be speedy work in the field of small, medium and micro industries. Sambal Yojana will be implemented with full force.

Land for the homeless

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that problem arises due to increase in the number of members in a family. For this, under the Mukhyamantri Awasiya Bhu-adhikar Yojana, the work will be done to make the members of the families the owners by giving them the plots for the house.

Culture, Tourism and Spirituality Minister Sushri Usha Thakur said that the culture of the state is our identity, individuality, pride and self-esteem. Under the direction of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Culture Department is making continuous efforts and taking the culture of the state towards prosperity. In the era of Covid-19 epidemic, where the people of the state have been saved from mental depression by organising continuous online programmes, the same has made the atmosphere of the state creative and resourceful by inviting artists for presentations. On the occasion of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, Sushri Thakur urged the people of the state to light a lamp in the name of the martyrs on the holy festival of Deepawali and take the lamp to the nearest martyr memorial. This will be our true tribute to the martyrs.

Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath said that the government will get everyone’s cooperation for self-reliant Madhya Pradesh. By coping with the challenges arising after Corona, we will cooperate in the progress of Madhya Pradesh.

The dance drama captivated the audience

  Colourful cultural programmes were presented in the state-level programme of Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day. The dance drama presented on the theme of self-reliant Madhya Pradesh captivated the audience. The story of public participation for the development of the state and self-reliant Madhya Pradesh was presented with beautiful lighting combination, excellent performances by the artists and special stage decoration. Around 300 artists took part in it. Playback singer Shri Mohit Chauhan also enthralled everyone with his performance. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan felicitated Sushri Metriyi Pahari, who directed the dance drama. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also got group photographs clicked with the artists of the dance drama.

Principal Secretary Culture and Public Relations Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla informed about the presentation by guest artists on the foundation day and activities of the Culture Department. Singer Sushri Suhasani presented Madhya Pradesh anthem written by Shri Mahesh Srivastava. Member of Parliament Shri Vishnu Dutt Sharma, MP Sushri Pragya Thakur, Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Shri Bharat Singh, Sushri Meena Singh, former Pro-tem Speaker Shri Rameshwar Sharma, MLA Shri P.C. Sharma, MLA Shri Vishnu Khatri, public representatives and a large number of art and music lovers were present.
