Bhopal:  Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while addressing the dedication and bhoomi-pujan programme of the development works at Devtalab in Rewa district, said that the process of making Devtalab as Nagar Panchayat and Tehsil would start soon. The site for setting up the solar plant will be decided after conducting a survey. The Collector should submit a proposal by conducting a survey for the establishment of the Cow Sanctuary. Devtalab is a very holy place. The Shiva temple here will also be renovated. He also announced the opening of CM Rise School at Devtalab and Dhera and police outposts at Bahuti and Sitapur. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan dedicated and performed bhoomi-pujan of 59 works worth Rs.99 crore 77 lakh.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes. The Chief Minister announced that the Sitapur to Raipur Karchulian road would be named “Deepak Singh” road in memory of the martyr of the area. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan attended the conclusion of the eight-day cycle yatra of the Speaker of the Assembly, Shri Girish Gautam and also honoured the cyclists. Initially, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan honoured the daughters by performing Kanya-Poojan.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that no stone will be left unturned in the works of public welfare in spite of financial problems during the Corona period. My government is continuously working for the welfare of the poor. My goal is to make people’s lives better. The Chief Minister said that an amount of Rs 172 thousand crore has been transferred to the bank accounts of farmers in the last 17 months. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that under the Bhu-adhikar Yojana, every poor family would be given a residential land title letter free of cost. Names of eligible people will be added by conducting survey again in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Sambal scheme has been started again. Poor students will be given full assistance for higher education. The government will pay their fees for medical and engineering studies. One lakh people will be given government jobs in the state this year. Employment opportunities will also be given to the youth through self-employment schemes.

The Chief Minister said that the farmers of Vindhya region are making records in the production of wheat and paddy. The farmers here will even surpass Punjab in a few days. Irrigation facility is essential for the development of agriculture. The work of Naigarhi lift irrigation will be completed expeditiously. Efforts will be made to reach Bansagar canal there by conducting surveys in other areas of the district.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan sought blessings for the development of the state by offering prayers at the famous Shiva temple of Devtalab. He dedicated the newly constructed college building and announced to name it Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Mahavidyalaya. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that at the conclusion of the earlier two cycle tours of the Speaker Shri Girish Gautam, a gift of construction of a college and a road costing Rs 116 lakh was given. Every effort will be made to fulfill the demands made by the Speaker at the end of this cycle yatra.

 Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha, Shri Gautam said that Chief Minister Shri Chouhan attended the conclusion of all my cycle tours and has given gifts to the region in every journey. He raised the demands to make Devtalab as Nagar Panchayat and Tehsil, establishment of solar plant, establishment of cow sanctuary, renaming Sitapur to Raipur Karchulian road after Shaheed Deepak Singh, establishment of agricultural produce market at naigarhi, establishment of three CM Rise Schools, restoration of the Devtalab temple and construction of a rest house in Devtalab.

Dedicated and performed bhoomi-pujan of 59 construction works worth Rs 99.77 crore in Devtalab

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan dedicated and performed bhoomi-pujan of 59 construction works worth Rs.99 crore 77 lakh at Devtalab in Rewa district. He dedicated 30 works worth Rs 34 crore 28 lakh. He dedicated the college building Devtalab, Sub Tehsil Bhavan and 23 Prime Minister Rural Roads. He also dedicated the Sub Health Centre building, Saliya, Rural Sports Ground and three bridges.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan performed bhoomi-pujan of 29 construction works costing Rs 65 crore 49 lakh. He performed bhoomi-poojan of health centre building, bridge and 24 Prime Minister’s rural roads approved from DMF head. Under Rural Engineering Services, he performed bhoomi-pujan of two roads to be constructed at a cost of Rs. one crore 89 lakh and Nal Jal Yojana costing Rs.14 crore 33 lakh for 90 villages under Jal Jeevan Mission.
