Continuing its commitment to social welfare and community development, the
Aahwahan Foundation has taken another commendable step by successfully inaugurating
its 510th RO (Reverse Osmosis) water plant at a government school in Gurugram. The
initiative aims to provide students with access to clean, safe, and purified drinking water,
thereby promoting better health and overall well-being.
The inauguration ceremony was held within the school premises and was attended by the
school principal, teachers, local dignitaries, foundation members, parents, and a large
number of students. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and positivity, with all
attendees appreciating the initiative and recognising it as a meaningful contribution to
society.
During the event, representatives of the foundation highlighted that access to clean
drinking water remains a significant challenge, particularly for children studying in
government schools. They emphasised that contaminated water often leads to water-
borne diseases, adversely affecting both the health and education of students. In this
context, the installation of an RO plant is not merely a facility but a vital investment in the
future of children.
The Founder of Aahwahan Foundation, Mr. Braja Kishore Pradhan, reiterated the
organisation’s long-term vision, stating that the aim is to establish RO systems in every
government school to ensure that children have access to safe and high-quality drinking
water.
A foundation representative further stated, “Our goal is not just to provide infrastructure but
to create a healthy and safe environment where children can focus on their education
without concern. We are committed to extending this facility to as many government
schools as possible.”
The school administration expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the foundation. The
principal noted that the RO plant will provide clean and cool drinking water to hundreds of
students daily, leading to improved health, better attendance, and enhanced academic
performance. Such initiatives, they added, play a crucial role in strengthening the quality of
education.
Members of the local community also praised the effort, describing Aahwahan Foundation
as a source of inspiration. They expressed hope that more organisations would come
forward to contribute towards the welfare of underprivileged sections of society.
Notably, the foundation has been actively working for several years in key areas such as
education, sanitation, and health. It has already established hundreds of model toilets, RO
plants, and other essential facilities across schools, directly benefiting thousands of
children who previously lacked access to basic amenities.
Experts emphasise that the availability of clean drinking water in schools is essential for
children’s physical and mental development. It not only reduces the risk of diseases but
also enhances concentration and energy levels. In this regard, the initiative by Aahwahan
Foundation marks a significant step towards driving positive social change.
The event concluded with a note of appreciation from all attendees, reaffirming that
collective efforts can bring about meaningful and lasting impact in society.
