WeWork India strengthens growth engine with strategic leadership investments across Managed Offices and Rivet
New Delhi : WeWork India Management Limited, the industry leader in the flexible workspace sector, today announced two strategic leadership appointments designed to accelerate growth across two of its highest-priority business verticals – Managed Offices and Rivet by WeWork India. Zuni Abhijit Chitnis joins as Associate Director – Managed Offices, with a mandate to drive expansion in Pune, while Drishya Pillai joins as Associate Director – Design & Build for Rivet by WeWork India, to scale the brand’s market presence nationally. These appointments are a deliberate response to accelerating enterprise demand and reflect WeWork India’s intent to deepen domain expertise at a leadership level as it pursues the next phase of growth.
India’s office leasing market continues to demonstrate strong momentum, with gross leasing volumes reaching 21.9 million sq. ft. in Q1 2026, a 13% year-on-year increase, driven by GCCs, MNCs, and a structural shift in enterprise real estate thinking (Source: JLL). As this demand evolves, WeWork India is positioning itself to capture a larger share of the enterprise market by ensuring its leadership team has the depth and specialisation to deliver at scale.

To support the next phase of growth of its Managed Offices, Zuni Chitnis brings over two decades of experience spanning hospitality, client relationship management, and flexible workspace solutions, directly aligned with the Company’s commitment to expanding this business. Her prior experience driving flex and managed office solutions at CoWrks gives her hands-on understanding of how enterprise clients evaluate, adopt, and scale customised workspace arrangements. “Managed Offices have moved from a niche consideration to a strategic imperative for enterprises prioritising efficiency and flexibility. Pune is one of India’s most dynamic commercial markets, with strong demand across IT, BFSI, manufacturing, and GCCs, and the opportunity here is significant. WeWork India is uniquely positioned to capture that demand, and I look forward to driving that growth for our enterprise clients,” said Zuni. In her new role, she will focus on expanding WeWork India’s managed office footprint in Pune, strengthening enterprise client relationships, and delivering workspace solutions that align with how modern businesses are restructuring their real estate strategies.
Commenting on the appointments, Priti Shetty, Chief People and Culture Officer, said, “India’s workplace market is undergoing a structural shift, and WeWork India is leading that transformation. Today, enterprises are looking for strategic partners who can help them navigate workplace transformation across design, flexibility, operational efficiency, and employee experience. As we continue to expand our presence across managed offices, workplace consulting, and design-build solutions, strengthening leadership in these high-growth segments is a strategic priority. Zuni and Drishya’s appointments are a reflection of that strategy. Their deep market expertise and strong industry relationships will help us accelerate growth, deepen client partnerships, and enhance our ability to serve enterprise customers across their workplace lifecycle. These appointments reflect our long-term commitment to building future-ready leadership and investing ahead of market demand.”
Alongside Managed Offices, Rivet by WeWork India is also at a pivotal stage of growth. Rivet is a design & build platform delivering integrated, experience-led, customised workspaces tailored to the unique needs of enterprises and end users – backed by a proven large-scale operating footprint and expertise. Rivet represents the next step in the evolution of the design & build ecosystem, addressing these gaps through an integrated, governance-led delivery model that combines unified ownership with full lifecycle visibility. Drishya Pillai’s appointment directly supports Rivet’s revenue growth objectives and long-term value creation. An architect and workplace strategist by training, her career spans architecture, interior design, workplace strategy, and commercial real estate, a multidisciplinary foundation that gives her the ability to translate complex organisational needs into commercially compelling workplace solutions. As Associate Director – Business Development for Rivet, she will lead business development and market expansion efforts, develop strategic partnerships, and drive client acquisition nationally. On her new role, Drishya said, “Organisations today are making smarter decisions about their workspaces, and what they want is a partner who understands both design and business. A great workspace design goes beyond aesthetics, it must be buildable, adaptable, and able to perform years after handover. At Rivet, backed by WeWork India’s deep experience in designing, building, and operating workspaces at scale, we understand how people actually use spaces over time, and what it takes to make them last. That intersection of thoughtful design, operational reality, and long-term performance is where Rivet sits. I’m excited to help build Rivet into the market’s trusted partner.”
Together, these appointments clearly reflect WeWork India’s organisational direction – investing in leaders who combine commercial acumen with the strategic vision to build differentiated, scalable businesses. As flexible workspaces, managed offices, and integrated design solutions converge into a single enterprise offering, the Company is investing in the people and expertise required to lead that convergence, while continuing to set the standard for what premium, purpose-built workplace solutions look like in India. Operating across eight cities with over 1.26 lakh desks and a member portfolio comprising nearly 77% enterprise clients, WeWork India stands at the forefront of empowering businesses of all sizes with agile workspace solutions.
