As the festive spirit of Onam fills the city, Oasis Brewery is bringing the flavours of Kerala to the table with a traditional Onam Sadya that celebrates the region’s rich culinary heritage. Designed as a generous festive spread, the Sadya brings together familiar Kerala favourites, seasonal flavours and time-honoured recipes in a feast meant to be enjoyed together.
The experience begins with a selection of classic accompaniments, including Sharkara Varatti, Upperi, Inji Puli, Pappadam and Mango Pickle, setting the tone for the feast. The traditional spread then moves into comforting staples such as Matta Rice with Parippu, Sambar, Rasam, Mooru Curry and Buttermilk.
Adding colour and variety to the Sadya are an assortment of Kerala-style sides, from Avial and Carrot & Beans Thoran to Pumpkin Erissery, Pulissery, Beetroot Pachadi, Olan and Kalan. The meal comes to a sweet finish with festive favourites including Parippu Payasam, Ada Pradhaman, Poli and Banana.
The celebration extends beyond the traditional Sadya with a selection of Kerala-inspired vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Guests can explore options such as Nirvana Paneer, Kannur Mushroom Masala, Thenga Maangapoo, Ulli Molavu Vada and Uralai Roast, alongside Inji Puli Chicken Wings, Chicken Pepper Dry, Meen Pollichathu, Chemmeen Fry and Mutton Fry.
Available from 22nd August, the Onam Sadya will be served in limited numbers, offering guests an opportunity to gather around the table and experience the flavours of Kerala in a lively brewery setting. With limited Sadhyas available, advance reservations are recommended.
