AMCH Principal Dr. Sanjib Kakoti’s deteriorating health, air ambulance will immediately go to New Delhi

Guwahati : Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) Principal Dr Sanjib Kakoti was taken to Guwahati today after his health deteriorated. He was taken to Guwahati in an air ambulance from Dibrugarh. Dr Kakoti recently tested Covid-19 and was undergoing treatment in super speciality block of AMCH for the past few days.Dr Prashant Dihingia, Superintendent, AMCH said, “We have shifted Dr. Sanjib Kakoti to Guwahati after his health deteriorated.

They were shifted from AMCH to Guwahati in an air ambulance”. A team of senior doctors in the super speciality block of AMCH was constantly monitoring his health condition. State Agriculture Minister Atul Bora visited AMCH in Dibrugarh to enquire about Dr. Kakoti’s health. As per the plan, he was to be shifted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, but due to his deteriorating health condition, he was immediately shifted to Guwahati. Everyone has been praying for his speedy recovery and good health since the news of Kakoti spreading on social media.
