Appointment letters to TET qualified teachers

Kokrajhar: A total 240 TET qualified candidates for secondary education under Kokrajhar and Chirang districts were ceremonially distributed appointment letters at a ceremonial programme at Bodofa Cultural Complex in Kokrajhar.

Organized by the Education department, Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) chief executive member Pramod Boro attended the function as chief guest and handed over the letters.

Total 144 TET qualified candidates in Kokrajhar and 96 in Chirang were handed over the appointment letters Thursday.

BTR chief executive member Pramod Boro said altogether 851 TET qualified candidates will be given the in the four districts of BTR. He said 144 in Kokrajhar, and 96 in Chirang district were handed over the appointment letters today. Likewise 191 in Baksa and 420 in Udalguri district will be handed over the appointment letters ceremonially on 13 and 14 August .

Boro urged the newly appointed teachers to carry forward the vision of the noble profession and work for the overall development of the schools and students.

The programme was attended by BTR executive members- Dr Nilut Swargiary, Daobaisa Boro, Ranjit Basumatary, Arup Kumar Dey and MCLAs (Member of Council Legislative Assembly), Director of Education BTC Jagadish Chandra Brahma among others.
