Mr. Hakimuddin Kanorwala has joined Suba Hotels Limited as Chief Finance Officer (CFO). He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, where he completed a one-year Executive CFO Programme.
Mr. Kanorwala has been associated with leading global and Indian hospitality brands, including Hilton Hotels, Accor Hotels, and The Indian Hotels Company Limited, gaining strong domain expertise in the hospitality sector.
He brings over 15 years of extensive experience in finance and accounts, with deep expertise across financial planning and analysis, budgeting, treasury, taxation, compliance, risk management, governance, strategic finance, and financial reporting.
In his previous assignment, he served as Corporate Director – Finance at Roots Corporation Limited, which operates the Ginger brand, part of the IHCL Group. He was a member of the key management team and was responsible for overseeing the overall financial function of the organization.
He has demonstrated strong leadership in driving strategic financial decision-making, business growth, strengthening financial planning and discipline, enhancing governance frameworks and internal controls, and leading process transformation initiatives through technology and automation.
