Kokrajhar: Kokrajhar police today recovered arms and ammunition including two pistols and a grenade from Pepsu jungle area near Borimaka (Mainagiri) under Kachugaon Police Station in Kokrajhar district.
Kokrajhar Superintendent of Police Rakesh Roushan said based on reliable input about concealing of illegal arms, ammunitions and explosive in Pepsu jungle area near Borimaka (Mainagiri) under Kachugaon Police Station a search operation conducted by a police team led by Sub Inspector Anand Rabha, Officer incharge of Kachugaon PS and staff of 8th APBN this evening and recovered one 9 mm factory made pistol (RUGER, made in USA) alongwith one magazine, one 7.65 mm factory made pistol with magazine, three 7.65 mm live ammunitions and one Chinese hand grenade.
No arrests have been made in this connection.
Follow up action is being taken, he said.
