Guwahathi: In Assam, the Baghjan blowout well in Tinsukia district was successfully killed yesterday. Official sources said that the well has been killed with brine solution.
However, experts are monitoring if there is any amount of gas migration and pressure build up. It took over 5 months to bring the situation fully under control at Baghjan. The experts with the help of a 60 tonnes snubbing unit killed the blowout well.
