Himachal: The portals of Kedarnath shrine have been closed for devotees for the winter season this morning. Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat were present on this occasion.
After closing the temple portals amid the snow fall in Kedarnath, the Utsav Murti of Lord Kedarnath departed for the winter seat of prayers in Okhimath. The portals of Yamunotri Dham were also closed for winter today. The Gangotri shrine was closed for winter yesterday and the Doli of Mother Ganga was taken to its winter Pooja venue in Mukhba.
