In Assam, nearly 71 thousand patients were discharged from hospitals so far following their recoveries in the state. Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that three thousand 259 persons were discharged during the last 24 hours.
On the other hand, one thousand 272 positive cases were reported during the last 24 hours. Presently, there are 19 thousand 595 active cases in the state.
