Kochi: Aster Medcity organized ‘ASTER CRITICON 2025’, state level one-day intensive Critical Care Nursing Workshop. Nearly 150 participants attended the program which was designed to enhance the clinical expertise of nurses in critical care. Hibi Eden MP inaugurated the workshop, emphasizing the need for awareness and expertise in critical care among nurses, as specialized knowledge directly impacts patient outcomes.
The workshop provided an immersive learning experience, covering essential topics such as rapid assessment, emergency response, ECG interpretation, infection control, mechanical ventilation, and advanced life support interventions. Participants engaged in a blend of interactive lectures, live demonstrations, and hands-on mock drills, crafted to simulate real-life ICU scenarios.
