bigbasket, a TATA Enterprise, announced the appointment of Arpit Jaiswal as its Chief Growth Officer, reinforcing its leadership bench as it sharpens focus on profitable growth and category leadership in India’s fast-evolving quick commerce and online grocery market.
In this role, Arpit will lead growth across product, user acquisition, retention, and market expansion. He will work closely with cross-functional teams to deepen customer engagement, drive monetization efficiency, and scale bigbasket’s presence across urban and emerging markets.
Arpit brings a strong blend of growth strategy, product leadership, and business acumen from his tenure at Google Pay. As Head of Growth and Group Product Manager, he led large-scale user acquisition through partnerships and AI-led interventions, while driving disciplined OpEx management and P&L optimization for India operations. He also played a key role in shaping product strategy, including rewards-led growth and improving unit economics. Arpit is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
