Patna: As expected Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday quit the BJP-led NDA and reigned from the post of Chief Minister. His decision of breaking away from the NDA and the BJP was announced in the JDU legislature party meeting the morning. According to insiders Kumar has been contemplating to quit the alliance for a while and was discussing the possibility of an alternate government with RJD leader leadership and Tejashwi Yadav. Finally today evening, accompanied by Tejashwi Yadav, Congress leader Ajit Sharma and former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi Nitish Kumar reached the Raj Bhavan and handed over his resignation to Governor Phagu Chauhan.
