New Delhi: A two-day BJP national convention is all set to begin at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from today. Around 11,500 delegates including Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of party-ruled States, State Ministers, national and State party office bearers, MPs and MLAs are going to participate in this event.
The Party office bearers meeting will be held today ahead of the convention. The convention assumes significance because of the Lok Sabha polls. The BJP leaders will discuss the Party’s strategy for the Lok Sabha polls besides deliberating on a comprehensive organisational agenda. Two resolutions will also come up during the convention. BJP President J P Nadda will deliver his inaugural address today. The meeting will conclude with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s valedictory address tomorrow.
